If you’re anything like me you have a lot of things to do. If you’re anything like me you struggle to get it all done. If you’re anything like me, when you feel that you’re out of control, stress can be the result.

It definitely doesn’t have to be that way!

I’ve posted before about the Personal Productivity System – GTD or Getting Things Done. As I sit here, I have just had to recover from a relatively extended period of letting my system slip. It was nowhere near as intensive a process as implementing the system was, but it helped me realise that Action is all that is needed to combat procrastination.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to go into the GTD system in some detail. I’ll take you through my experiences of implementing it. I’ll also discuss some of the key tools that can make the difference. It’s not a time management system, although it can be; it’s a system for getting control of every aspect of your life, gaining control of what you have to do, and dramatically reducing stress in the process.

Let me know what aspects of the system you have questions about and I’ll include my take on them in the series.

I look forward to engaging with you about it over the next few weeks.
